This case mainly introduces our completed H-type automatic layer chicken farm project in Nigeria. The scale is two buildings, each housing 40,000 laying hens.

We won this client mainly thanks to our reliable quality and thoughtful service. The client first visited us in February 2023 and stayed for three days. On the first day, we took him to our poultry farm in China, which is fully equipped with HIGHTOP products — specifically the 4-tier H-type automatic layer cages that perfectly match his requirements.

He had only used ordinary local layer cages before and had no experience with fully automatic ones. During the site visit, he observed the daily operation and management of the automated farm on the spot, and learned about the operation of automatic feeding, egg collection and manure removal systems, as well as how to start and stop these automated functions.

Many farmers are in the process of shifting from manual management to automated management. Upgrading from traditional cages to fully automatic layer cages is an inevitable choice for large-scale poultry farms to cut costs, raise efficiency and improve product quality.

1. Traditional cages require lots of labor for feeding, egg collection and manure cleaning. Automatic cages realize full mechanical operation, cut down manpower and save long-term labor expenses.

We reached a consensus with the client on the advantages of upgrading to an automated farm. Afterwards, the client toured our manufacturing workshop for automated poultry equipment and learned about the operation of machines such as bending machines, laser cutting machines and automatic welding machines. After watching our workers operate on site, the client was fully convinced of our high production precision.

During the following two days, the client visited our showroom. We also discussed project details in the office. Highly satisfied with our service and product quality, the client paid the deposit within the same month.

This project marks a major milestone for HIGHTOP in the African market. The client purchased a full package of products from us, including poultry equipment, environmental control systems and steel structures.

The core equipment adopts 4-tier H-type automatic layer cages, equipped with automatic egg collection, step-type automatic feeding and crawler-type automatic manure removal systems. The environmental control package consists of exhaust fans, cooling pads and air deflectors. Meanwhile, the supplied steel structures cover facilities for poultry equipment, personnel disinfection and vehicle disinfection. The farm has ultimately achieved full automatic operation.

Disinfection systems are indispensable for modern layer farms, acting as a critical line of defense against diseases. Effective disinfection cuts down harmful bacteria and viruses significantly, lowering the risk of flock infections and reducing mortality rates. Stable health of chickens ensures consistent egg production and better egg quality.

Complete disinfection facilities for personnel and vehicles prevent external pathogens from entering the farm. After the goods arrived at the client’s farm, we dispatched professional engineers from China to provide on-site installation guidance. Once the equipment was put into operation, the client was highly satisfied with its performance and formally decided to become our official agent for Nigeria.

In September 2024, the client paid another visit to our company in China, during which we officially presented the agency certificate to them.

In the second half of 2024, acting as our distributor, the client secured another order for a fully equipped H-type automated farm designed for 40,000 layers. This end customer lives in the same village in Nigeria as our agent. After visiting the agent’s farm, he was deeply impressed by its modern automated facilities and finally placed an order.

We sent two professional engineers from China for on-site guidance this time, aiming to build a dedicated and well-trained installation team exclusively for our Nigerian agent. The installation work was completed with higher efficiency than ever before. Every procedure, from preliminary design to final installation and after-sales service, has been continuously optimized. Meanwhile, our partnership with the Nigerian agent has grown increasingly closer.
