1. Feed silo & main feeding line system
The broiler free-range system adopts an automatic feeding solution composed of a main feed line and branch feed lines. The main feed line undertakes the central material transportation task, delivering feed from the silo to each breeding area stably and continuously through a driving motor and auger conveyor.
Branch feed lines are distributed evenly in the chicken house, receiving feed from the main line and automatically distributing it to each feeding pan. The whole system operates in a circulating and automatic mode, with adjustable feeding speed and material level.
Using feed silo can keep the feed dry, fresh and nutritious, prevent feed deterioration, and effectively avoid diseases caused by feed deterioration. Closed feeding design can effectively reduce the contamination of the feed by rats and mosquitoes, which is conducive to the health of breeding. With the automatic feeding line, it is easy to realize automatic breeding, saving a lot of manpower and material resources. HIGHTOP can provide BASF coating silo. The thermal insulation coating can significantly reduce the temperature inside the feed silo. When the ambient temperature is 38°C, the temperature inside the silo can be controlled within 41°C (up to 60-65°C without the coating), thereby reducing the loss of nutrients in the feed.
2. Broiler pan auger feeding line
The pan auger feed line is the core automatic feeding equipment for broiler free-range rearing. It adopts a closed auger conveying structure, which transports feed automatically from the feed silo to each feeding pan through the rotating spiral blade.
The whole system runs continuously and circulatively. When the feed level in the pan reaches the set height, the automatic induction device stops material supply; when the feed is consumed, the system restarts feeding automatically. The layout of the feed line is reasonable, covering all breeding areas evenly.
HIGHTOP provide motor from Taiwan/Italy with famous high-quality performance, adopting special driving reduction motor, protection level: IP55 and aluminum alloy frame. Moreover, our feeder pan supports 360° rotation to avoid chicken injury. 14 grids are designed to ensure easy access and feature a special spillproof edge.
3. Broiler square tube drinking system
The square tube drinking system is an essential automatic water supply device for broiler free-range houses. It adopts galvanized square water pipes as the main water delivery pipeline, featuring corrosion resistance, firm structure and long service life.
The front end of the water line is equipped with high-quality components including 5-micron precision filter, pulse water meter, pressure gauge, self-priming pump and medicator. It ensures the flocks can drink the purest and healthiest water.
After passing through the front-end water treatment unit, water flows automatically from the water regulator into the square main pipe, then evenly distributes to each drinking nipple installed on the pipeline. The system is equipped with a pressure regulating valve to stabilize water pressure, ensuring every nipple supplies clean and fresh water steadily.
With automatic water replenishment and constant pressure control, it avoids water overflow and waste. The sealed pipeline effectively prevents dust and bacteria contamination. It reduces manual water management work, provides hygienic drinking conditions for broilers, promotes healthy growth, and improves the overall automation and breeding efficiency of the free-range system.
4. Fan system
The fan system is a key part of environmental control for broiler free-range houses, responsible for ventilation, cooling and air renewal. It adopts high-efficiency negative pressure fans installed on one side of the chicken house. When the system starts, the fans exhaust dirty air, harmful gas and excess heat outwards, forming negative pressure inside the house.
Fresh natural air is automatically drawn in from the air inlet, realizing circulating air exchange. Cooperating with the environmental controller, the fan can automatically adjust running speed and working time according to indoor temperature and humidity.
This stable ventilation mode keeps the air fresh, reduces ammonia concentration and effectively lowers the indoor temperature in hot weather. It improves the living environment of broilers, reduces disease incidence, saves manual management, and supports healthy growth and high breeding efficiency for free-range broilers.

5. Inlet air window system
The small air inlet window system is an indispensable part of environmental control for broiler free-range chicken houses. It works in coordination with negative pressure fans to realize scientific ventilation and fresh air exchange.
When the exhaust fans operate, negative pressure is formed inside the house, which automatically opens the small windows. Fresh outside air enters the chicken house evenly and slowly through the windows, avoiding direct cold wind stimulation to the flocks. The opening angle of the small windows can be adjusted automatically or manually according to indoor temperature, humidity and air quality.
The system reasonably distributes airflow, keeps the indoor air fresh, discharges harmful gas effectively, and maintains a stable and comfortable breeding environment. It helps reduce chicken stress, lower disease rate, promote healthy growth of broilers, and improve the overall breeding efficiency of the free-range system.
6. Evaporative cooling pad system
The cooling pad system is an essential cooling and environmental control device for broiler free-range chicken houses, cooperating closely with negative pressure exhaust fans. The system consists of cooling cellulose pads, a water circulation pipeline, a water pump and a water tank.
We provide two optional models: 7060 and 7090. The 7090 model has high saturation efficiency and moderate pressure drop. It is suitable for very hot and dry climates, ensuring obvious temperature drop. The 7060 model features moderate saturation efficiency and low pressure drop. It fits very hot and wet climates and guarantees high ventilation rates.
7. Insulated door system
Two opening types are optional: rope pull opening and rack gear opening. HIGHTOP insulated door adopts fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) panels on both sides with thickness ≥0.8 mm. The interlayer is filled with EPS foam or polyurethane foam, thickness ≥5 cm. The edge wrapping of the insulation panel is made of hot-dip galvanized sheet or aluminum alloy. The door periphery is sealed with EPDM sealing strips, and wind baffles are equipped on both sides. Our door frame is constructed of hot-dip galvanized square steel or aluminum alloy profiles. Safe and reliable limiting devices are equipped for both opening and closing operations.
In hot seasons, the insulation door is fully opened, and the cooling pad system starts to operate. Water circulates evenly on the cooling pad, and the negative pressure fans draw outdoor hot air through the wet pad, realizing rapid cooling through water evaporation. In cold seasons, the insulation door is closed tightly to prevent cold air from entering, while the cooling pad stops working to keep the indoor temperature stable.
The system can be automatically or manually adjusted according to indoor and outdoor temperature. It effectively avoids temperature fluctuations, reduces broiler stress, ensures healthy growth, and improves the adaptability and breeding efficiency of the free-range system, suitable for all-season broiler breeding needs.
